Downata Hot Springs

We went on a one-night camping trip to Downata Hot Springs in Downey Idaho yesterday. It was nice to get out of town and Brady and Mckensy were able to go with us! This was our first camping trip of the year. We stayed in an RV park at the hot springs and it was wonderfully shaded, but it was a little crowded. We had fun, but Riley was a bit out of sorts. He went camping once when he was about 2 months old, so this was kind of a new experience for him. He didn't like Daddy's big truck and he wasn't too sure about sleeping in the trailer, but he dealt with it fairly well. Jacoby loves the outdoors and he loves water, so he had a blast. And he loves his Uncle "Graby" and Aunt Kensy.

McKensy took the kids for a walk in the wagon this morning. They did great and they are so cute!

Cute little Addison. They were in a tent and it was quite loud and rowdy in the campground, so poor Addi didn't get much sleep. She was a trooper though!

Jacoby loved to play with the trailer door. In and out all day long.

Riley thought that the wagon was a great fun to push around. He walks really well holding onto things and the wagon was perfect for him. He could walk by himself if he would just let go, but he won't.

Later, we went up to the hot springs and played. They have a splash pad that Jacoby loved. And the pool was warm. On a 95° day, it wasn't really refreshing, but at least the kids didn't freak out because it was cold.

Jacoby playing at the pad. We have a splash pad by the house, but he never gets wet there. He actually was brave here and got in the water. Maybe it's because it was warm.

Riley was tired. He was so tired and the water was warm enough that he actually fell asleep. And he stayed asleep like this for about a half and hour.

And all the while, Riley was still sleeping. He woke up shortly after this though.
