Relaxing Weekend

This last weekend, we went with Bobbi and Mattie to Mattie's family's cabin outside of Heber. It was such a wonderful weekend! Thanks Bobbi and Mattie for inviting us! It was a super relaxing weekend and it was nice to get away from reality for a while. Bobbi was an awesome babysitter to both of the kids and it was so nice for Dominic and I to have a little break, even if it was just to have an uninterrupted shower.

This was right when we first got there.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and it even had it's own private little lake right behind it. Jacoby was in heaven playing in the sand and water. Dominic was fishing from the bank and Jacoby thought that the "fishes" were pretty cool and even tried to give kisses to a few of them.

He's giving the rocks kisses too. He also tried to kiss the bugs. He's such a loving little boy.

They had a paddle boat! Bobbi took Jacoby out in it the first night and he fell in love with it. He's wearing his new bike helmet that Dominic bought for him. He wouldn't take off his "hat".

Abby couldn't stand it if somebody was out in the boat. She had to swim after them. The poor fat dog was so sore and tired when we got home. I guess we need to get her out more often and try to whip her back into shape.

This swing kept Jacoby entertained for quite a while! He normally will only swing for a few minutes at a time, but he stayed in this swing for much longer. I think he was tired.

He also liked the "big swing". It was a hammock swing that I found very uncomfortable, but he liked it.

We brought Jacoby's wagon with us and we ended up using it as our "mobile bassinet". We're so redneck...but it worked great! Riley slept for hours in this.

Jacoby was throwing a ball for Buster on the deck in nothing but his diaper. He had gotten wet and was shivering in the shade and the breeze that was blowing, so I stripped him down so he was at least dry. He was having so much fun throwing the ball that I didn't want to stop him just yet.

This is such a good picture of Riley. He was such a good baby all weekend and Auntie Bobbi adored him!

2 of my 3 handsome boys!
