4-Wheeling!

Dom was getting ready to go hunting with his Uncle Wilson and he had pulled the 4-wheeler out so they could load it. He took Jacoby for a very small ride in the front yard. Jacoby has been on the 4 wheeler before, but every time we've started it, it's scared him. This time, he did pretty darn good!

Playing in the Grass

Dominic dressed Jacoby in his Camo this morning and took him outside to play in the grass! He hasn't cared for the feel of the grass before, but he had fun trying to eat it today! Dom found the camera and took some adorable pictures.

Cute Little Peanut!

Jacoby has been pulling faces lately that I love! I had to snap a few pics during dinner. He scrunches his face up and shows his gums. He is so darn cute. He will also blow raspberries on cue, so I had to snap a picture of that too. It's one of the only things that I can get him to copy me. It's just not so cute when he has a mouth full of food...

This next picture I had to snap after Jacoby woke up from his nap. He had crammed himself into the top of his crib and the crib bumpers made his hair look hilarious. Poor kid had just woke up and I was laughing at him and trying to snap pictures before his hair fell. I don't think that he was amused...

Camping and Teething

We went camping over Labor Day weekend with Dominic's family in Beaver, UT. It was cold, windy, and rainy most of the weekend. Monday morning, the wind woke everybody up because it was blowing tents over and just making things miserable. Thank goodness we have a trailer to put Jacoby in! Poor little guy got sick and threw up Friday and Saturday night, but he is thankfully over it.

He was kind of fussy all weekend, and I noticed yesterday that he has popped his two bottom teeth! That explains a lot! He didn't get red sore gums or was overly drooly like I've heard about and he wasn't too terribly fussy, so teething did not cross my mind. I was feeding him and I thought that the spoon felt funny going into his mouth, so I stuck my finger in there and sure enough, there was a tooth! You can't see them yet, but you can feel both of them (if he'll let you, I think they're still a little sore). I love baby teeth and think that they are so cute. I'm so excited that he finally has them. Dominic is kind of sad because our baby is growing up and getting big. As soon as they come up enough that you can see them, I'll post some pictures. Until then, here are some camping pics!

This is his cute little camping outfit that we bought for him. We had to try it on at home before we left to make sure that it fit.

Bobbi and Matt took Jacoby for a walk in the morning. He loves walks!

Jacoby helped wake Kris and Jeff up. How can you not smile when you wake up to such a cute little boy?!

Grandpa was trying to get Jacoby to walk. He's not really into that just yet, but I have no doubt that he'll figure it out soon. He's wearing cute cowboy boot slippers!

This one was taken after he got sick all over me. It's way past bedtime, but throwing up gave him a second wind. So, we took him back out by the fire and let Grandma and Grandpa play with him some more.

Bath Time!

Jacoby loves bath time. He loves to play and splash in the water. It usually doesn't matter how fussy he is, if you stick him in the tub, he's happy again. Dom usually gives him the bath and then I take over and get him lotioned up and dressed for bed. Tonight, I decided that it had been a while since I had taken some cute naked pictures, so I got the camera out. He is just so darn cute!

Dad is carrying him into the bathroom. Look at those cute buns!

Nice hair dude! You can tell that it's almost bedtime. He looks tired!

Poor honey is tired. He's got the deer in the headlights look.

Baby Ezabella

Dominic's cousin Josh and his wife Jessica had their baby! Ezabella Hazel was born on Aug. 13 weighing in at a tiny 6 lbs, 5 oz. She is adorable! We went and saw her on Sunday, Aug. 17. Dominic's dad was in town for his birthday fishing trip, so we met Bobbi at Josh's house so she could take Pops to the airport and so we could all see the baby. We all had to take turns holding the baby and oohing and ahhing. She was a such a sweet little baby. Jacoby really didn't care, he just laid on the floor and played, but when they get bigger, they're going to be buddies!

Afternoon in the Park

Yesterday, my brother Greg and his family came up to my mom's house. We decided to head to the park and have a picnic and let the kids play. My brother Brett and his family came as well as Brady and McKensy. The kids had a blast running around the park and the adults had a good time talking and catching up.

Heather decided that she wanted to get a picture of all of the kids with grandma. We rounded them up and put them on the slide. My mom (Grandma) was holding Jacoby, and my niece Kaylee decided that she wanted to sit on Grandma's lap too. She climbed over top of him and I don't know if it scared him or hurt him, but he started bawling while we were trying to get pictures. Poor kid. He didn't really get a nap, so he was grouchy to begin with.

So, we got him calmed down, but kids just don't have a very long attention span. Notice them all looking in other directions. My nephew Braxton is the one pulling the face. Oh well, I guess the moment for pictures was over.

Grandma decided to swing with Jacoby. He was doing pretty good, but then he slowly started to slide down Grandma's legs. Too cute!
